HTC Incredible caught in the wild with Android 2.1 and Snapdragon

The guys over at PocketNow have spent some quality time with the HTC Incredible, and managed to get us some photos, a video by Mr. ShakyCam and some details. It’s packing a Snapdragon CPU, Android 2.1 goodness with Sense UI, 256MB of RAM, optical mouse pointer, and dual LED flash. The screen is somewhere between 3.6 and 3.7 inches, with WVGA resolution and AMOLED. Sounds like winner to me, althought some Hero users are going to be pissed if this comes with 2.1 and they’re still stuck on 1.5.

Engadget has a hefty leak of “HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL” material from Sprint posted today, and while a Froyo date for EVO would, alone, be enough to satisfy most of us, there’s a host of other goodies packed in here. From HD video improvements, to new widgets, to UI changes in some areas, to LED torch capability [...]

While the manual (which [...]

This isn’t irrefutable proof that yesterday’s leaked image of the MTHG is a real phone in the making, but it definitely strengthens the case. People have been picking part that front shot, pointing out that the myTouch logo is sitting where the T-Mobile stamp should be, that it looks like a squished and otherwise modified [...]

Well, no one has reported any major problems with it as of yet, so it appears to be fully-working. A big thanks goes out to Scuccia, the developer on XDA who [...]

Well this sure has been a fantastic week of leaks and announcements all over the place. First we hear word of the HTC Vision possibly being dubbed the G1 Blaze, maybe being the first HSPA+ device to come to T-Mobile USA. Then good ol’ Magenta decides to put up a nice little webpage for their [...]

Remember that brief slip where Dell took down their pre-order page and posed, in its place, a notice on straight purchases? I didn’t catch it, but Engadget did, and price tags were revealed.
If you get the device with a new contract from AT&T, be prepared to shell out $300. If you’re going straight cash, bring [...]

Well we all knew it would come eventually, its almost been 2 years and thats even worse than dog years when it comes to cellphones. It seems T-Mobile has pulled the G1 from their website making it impossible to buy it anymore. Of course you could still find plenty of them on Ebay but unfortunately [...]

Everyone loves a good deal, and I hope it’s safe to say that Augen’s 7-inch Android tablet is a great deal at just $149.99, but I’ve never used a product from the Florida-based company so I’ll have to wait and see what other folks think of the devices once they’ve had their hands on one…or [...]
