myTouch v. 1.2 coming Feb 10th
While I’m not sure the “v. 1.2″ name will stick, it looks like TMoNews was right on the money with an earlier leak about the phone’s existence. This new image from T-Mo’s internal system (which is difficult to read even at full size) confirms that David and friends even had the date right. Now that the LE is sold out and the shelf life of the original myTouch is drawing to a close, it looks like at least the black and white models will be replaced by the new device, which sports a 3.5 mm audio jack. It probably won’t last long though.

When photos popped up of Samsung’s Galaxy tablet, Tab, bearing a white tape label with “CDMA” printed on it, the natural response was to look for the gadget on tablet-hungry Verizon (where it will be turning up) and to ask the question: “Will we see a GSM version?” The answer to that question comes today [...]

Remember the benchmark chart that disclosed HTC’s Glacier was a processing powerhouse? That phone runs the MSM7×30 Snapdragon processor including the Adreno 205 GPU. Thanks to @cyanogen and the leak of some software, we now know that the G2 is packing the very same wallop. As Taylor from Android and Me points out, the phone [...]

We’ve seen some darn good photographs. We saw what appeared to be an impromptu video of it in use on a train. And yet – even after Samsung gave us an official teaser video – we haven’t actually actually seen their much hyped Galaxy tablet in action. That changes today, although the spycam is a [...]

If you had any doubt about the common identity of HTC’s HSPA+-capable PC10100, which cleared the FCC yesterday (did anyone, really?), rest assured that confirmation has been achieved via the leak of an apparently Sense-free ROM called “Test rom for HTC Vision / T-Mobile G2 (Android-Froyo 2.2).” So, not only are all of the G2 [...]
