HTC Legend pricing announced for UK carrier
It was just a week ago when the rumor about HTC Legend and the Hero2 would be hitting the shelves of Sprint first took center stage. Though it seems that, that is no longer the case here. It was officially announced recently that the HTC Legend will be released from Vodafone UK in April. It is also mentioned on Expansys, an online mobile device retailer, that the device will go on sale on April 12 with the price tag of £399.99. As for the Vodafone UK pricing, it is £1.99 with a 2-year contract with £25 a month plan, or for free with a more expensive plan. This is great pricing for such a wonderful device. Let us see how much longer we, the US consumers, have to wait to get our hands on this beauty and lets just hope it won’t be a long wait.

It may have taken a little longer than other HTC phones, but the HTC Wildfire has finally been rooted…kinda. While the method devised and executed does not unlock NAND on the handset(meaning you can’t install custom ROMs),it does allow running applications that require root access.
